1. Overview
Tutelync is a subscription-based SaaS platform operated by Glyphora, Kerala, India. This policy explains how cancellations, refunds, and plan changes are handled for our paid subscription plans (Starter, Growth, and Pro).
2. Free Plan
The Free plan requires no payment and can be used indefinitely. No refund policy applies to the Free plan.
3. Free Trial
New users receive a 14-day free trial of the Growth plan. No credit card is required during the trial period. If you do not subscribe to a paid plan before the trial ends, your account will automatically revert to the Free plan. No charges are made during the trial.
4. Subscription Cancellation
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page in your dashboard
- Upon cancellation, your paid plan remains active until the end of your current billing period (monthly or yearly)
- After the billing period ends, your account will revert to the Free plan
- Your data (students, attendance, fees, exams) will be preserved, but features beyond the Free plan limits will become inaccessible
5. Refund Policy
a) Monthly Subscriptions
- Refund requests can be made within 7 days of payment if you are unsatisfied with the service
- After 7 days, no refund will be issued for the current billing cycle, but you may cancel to avoid future charges
b) Yearly Subscriptions
- Refund requests can be made within 15 days of payment
- A pro-rata refund will be calculated based on unused months
- After 15 days, no refund will be issued, but you may cancel to prevent auto-renewal
c) No Refund Cases
- Partial month usage — no refund for days remaining in a monthly billing cycle after 7 days
- Downgrade — no refund for the difference when switching to a lower plan
- Violation of Terms — accounts suspended for Terms of Service violations are not eligible for refunds
6. Plan Changes
- Upgrade: You can upgrade your plan at any time. The new plan takes effect immediately and you will be charged the new plan amount
- Downgrade: Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. You continue to enjoy the higher plan until then
7. Failed Payments
- If a renewal payment fails, Razorpay will retry the payment up to 3 times
- During retry period, your plan remains active (grace period)
- If all retries fail, your plan will be marked as past due and eventually revert to the Free plan
- No penalty or extra charges for failed payments

Please include your registered email, plan name, payment date, and reason for the refund request. Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days to the original payment method.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of Tutelync after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
